چکیده
Abstract. The observation and estimation of the deep crustal stress state is a key difficult problem for in situ measurement. Using borehole wall strain gauge based on overcoring stress-relieving method one main methods In this paper, strain-sensing array fiber Bragg grating (FBG) designed by using structure classical hollow inclusion cell, its layout scheme studied. According to scheme, inversion algorithm hole deduced. Following this, triaxial loading unloading experiment platform built, calibration FBG sensor designed. Finally, Abaqus finite element software used simulate measurement process relief. values each direction before after are extracted, equation carry out inversion. comparison results proved that group feasible reliable. quasi-distributed module paper can invert three-dimensional measuring strain, which places theoretical experimental foundation development application an gauge. It makes up deficiency existing resistance gauge, provides direct accurate observations measurement, has important practical value technology.

Distributed three-dimensional fiber Bragg grating refractometer for biochemical sensing.
We demonstrate a three-dimensional (3-D) distributed refractometer that measures refractive index in a small volume. The sensor is based on an evanescent-wave fiber Bragg grating that is interrogated by low-coherence spectral interferometry. The measurement can be performed on a short time scale without the need for a mechanical scan. The new sensor was used to simultaneously measure glucose co...

A new type of optical fiber underwater acoustic sensor (hydrophone) constructed with two fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) and a self-demodulation ethod is presented in this paper. Unlike other FBG sensors which have separate sensing and demodulating elements, this FBG hydrophone has nly a single structure for both sensing and demodulating using a pair of matched FBGs. The cylindrical structure of the...

متن کاملA Magnetostrictive Composite-Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor
This paper presents a light and compact optical fiber Bragg Grating sensor for DC and AC magnetic field measurements. The fiber is coated by a thick layer of a magnetostrictive composite consisting of particles of Terfenol-D dispersed in a polymeric matrix. Among the different compositions for the coating that were tested, the best magnetostrictive response was obtained using an epoxy resin as ...
متن کاملFiber Bragg Grating Sensors and Sensor Arrays
Fiber Bragg gratings have found widespread application in sensor systems, e. g. for temperature, strain or refractive index measurements. The concept of fiber Bragg gratings allows also in a simple way the realisation of arrays of such sensors. The development of such optical fiber sensor systems often requires special fibers and grating structures which may go beyond more conventional Bragg gr...
